BlueRoseOfPurity: Kamaria sat in the middle of the clearing leaning up against Alberon's side as he laid beside her. She dressed in a leather dress with a slightly sloping neckline with leather leggings to protect her legs from the dragon's rough
scales. Her feet were covered with sturdy but worn leather boots that have definately seen better days.
Highlander634: Philip had been out riding; looking over the country and attempting to find some of the population who had not fled. He was looking for messengers and so far he couldn't find a single soul. At least he had spent a decent night at
the inn and had a good sleep on a comfortable bed for the first time in many months. Suddenly he hears a great roaring in the sky overhead and then a flying crature sets down in the meadow. He also saw that someone was riding the
great beast. He was the Queen's Knight; so it was his duty to investigate. In an empty land like this, anything was possible. Boldly, he road toward the creature.
BlueRoseOfPurity: Kamaria turned slightly looking at Alberon hearing him growling loudly. "Sense something big guy?" She quickly jumped to her feet brushing the debri off her clothing preparing for their visitor. Placing her hand on his neck, giving
it a gentle pat.
Highlander634: Philip, safely ensconced on his great warhorse, rode up directly at the great beast in front of him. He had heard of dragons of legend, but this one seemed to be a real living beast. He noticed the woman beside the beast and that
her clothing was well worn and needed replacing. He saw no sword or other trappings of a warrior; so he did not expect an attack. Reining in he spoke to her in a quiet gentle voice. "Good day to you Mistress, and to your animal
as well. I am Sir Philip de Bourgh, the Queen's Knight. I would enquire as to your business in this realm."
BlueRoseOfPurity: She felt the dragon raise to his feet still having her hand on his neck feeling his loudly rumbling growl. "My name is Kamaria and this is Alberon. We have been traveling a long ways and are looking for a new place to call home."
Highlander634: The fully mailed and armed knight smiled wanely at her. "Greetings Mistress Kamaria. You are not alone in seeking a new home. I myself am here for the same reason. Her Majesty, Queen Haylie, resides for the moment in the only
tavern in what was the capital city of Tariel. It would be to your benefit to travel there and speak with her. You might want to leave Alberon outside the city. We don't want to scare anyone." His smile widened a bit.
BlueRoseOfPurity: "I will have to go into the capital city soon then. At first I was not sure if I was going to stay, but this place as plenty of room for Alberon. Plus the people I have met so far seem nice.
Highlander634: "The inn is the only place to get a square meal or a bed in the whole area. I have been named to command the army, just as soon as I can form one. It's my headquarters as well. Hopefully we can soon get the palace fixed up.
There are few enough people about; we have to repopulate the whole realm. It's going to be a very long job." He shrugged his shoulders. "Again good day to you Mistress and Dragon. Fare you well in this realm." At that he turned
his mount around and returned to his original mission.
