the Meeting of Arianda and Kamaria

SeerofRu: ::Arianda walked through the forest depths in silence. She had

been back in Aaliron less than a week, and was devestated by her finds. Her

home, the village of Ru, had been in ruins. Her friends, all gone. It sent a

chill down her

SeerofRu: spine. Or maybe she was just cold. She wrapped her dark green

cloak more tightly about her body, before moving a loose strand of her

golden-red hair from her face. Finally, she came to a glade, a place where

the sun light was able

SeerofRu: to break through the trees. She sat a moment. Her hazel eyes

looking skyward, wondering what had happened to Ru.:


BlueRoseOfPurity: The massive golden dragon landed in the forest bending and

breaking the trees landing

BlueRoseOfPurity: with a loud thud on the ground causing slight quake. At

first it appeared the dragon was alone, however soon a figure appeared on

it's back sliding down his

BlueRoseOfPurity: side landing with a soft thud on the ground. The lone

figure stood 5'10 with long curly brown hair flowing down past her shoulders

and eyes as blue as the ocean. She wore a leather dress with a

BlueRoseOfPurity: sloping necklike showing off a hint of cleavage. Her legs

were covered by leather leggings to protect them from scraping against the

dragon's rough scales. The sturdy ankle high leather boots

BlueRoseOfPurity: thudded against the ground as she ventured forward.

Alberon laying down on the ground with a loud grumph and a thud billowing

smoke out of his nose and flicking his tail like a annoyed cat. [d]


SeerofRu: ::Arianda had never seen a dragon, but she saw the massive

creature as it flew overtop the glade, seeking its landing place. Between the

quaking of the ground, and the crashing of the trees, Arianda broke into a

run, her cloak

SeerofRu: whipping in the wind, revealing her traveling trousers and faded

white blouse. She couldn't imagine what sort of creature she had just seen,

but perhaps the large creature had been what destroyed her home. She had to

find out! As

SeerofRu: she approached the "landing site", she slowly to a careful walk.

Once she was close enough to percieve, she hid behind one of the still

standing trees, watching cautiously as the woman slid off the creature's

back.::


BlueRoseOfPurity: Kamaria walked around to the front of the massive beast

placing her hand on his nose. "You stay here Alberon." She turned to leave

pausing here the dragon grumble loudly shaking her head. "Grumpy old man."

The dragon snorted smoke

BlueRoseOfPurity: Kamaria causing a coughing fit waving her hand infront of

her face clearing the smoke.

BlueRoseOfPurity: [d]

BlueRoseOfPurity: (shaking his head )


SeerofRu: ::Arianda watched the duo in awe. A great monster, commanded by a

young woman. It was certainly an odd sight, but the woman didn't seem to be

afraid of the beast. Perhaps this wasn't what had brought about the end of

Ru. A bit of

SeerofRu: the smoke filtered toward Arianda, causing her to cough as well,

though she tried to mask the noise unsuccessfully.::


BlueRoseOfPurity: Kamaria heard the coughing turning in the direction the

sound was coming. "Hello? Who is there?" Alberon lifted his head growling

loudly remaining in a laying position for now. [d]


SeerofRu: :Arianda knew it would be foolish to run. But, would it not be

just as foolish to approach such a large creature? No, running would be

cowardly she decided as she stepped out from her hiding place, not far from

the front of the duo.

SeerofRu: She nervously cleared her throat.:: Hello, my name is Arianda

Trill, of Ru. I didn't mean to spy on you, but I heard a terrible crash, and

then the ground danced beneath me, and my curiosity had to be sated. ::Her

hand slipped to an

SeerofRu: inner fold of her cloak, her fingers resting on the hilt of her

dagger. It would do little for protection against the beast, but it was all

she had. Her eyes switched between the woman, and the dragon nervously.::


BlueRoseOfPurity: "Easy big fella." Kamaria patted alberon on the neck until

he lowered his head down. "my name is Kamaria and my dragon companion is

named Alberon. You said that this is placed Ru? Is that part of a bigger

kingdom?" [d]


SeerofRu: Dragon? ::So that is what the creature was. Arianda stared at him

appreciatively, careful not to make eye contact. She had never seen one, but

she had been taught about them.:: No, this is not Ru, I'm afraid. This forest

is called

SeerofRu: Amerca, its a part of the Kingdom of Aaliron. My home is a Village

called Ru, not far from here. I left for a while, studying and traveling, and

when I returned . . . ::Her voice faded. She didn't want to give words to it.

That

SeerofRu: would make it all too true.::


BlueRoseOfPurity: "I can tell from up above that something terrible happened

to this place. I am sorry that your home was destroyed. I know how you feel,

my kingom was invaded by a rival kingdom and destroyed. I was only able to

get away because of

BlueRoseOfPurity: Alberon here." [d]


SeerofRu: ::Ariand refused to cry. especially in the presence of a sranger.

Besides, she was a woman! She couldn't show such weakness.:: I'm sorry to

hear of your loss to. It is strange, the village is in ruins, and everyone is

gone. Honestly

SeerofRu: I thought perchance your friend there was the cause, but I see

that isn't true.


BlueRoseOfPurity: "A dragon could have been the cause but Alberon and I have

been traveling so there is no way he could have done it. We were actually

looking for a place to get a fresh start." [d]


SeerofRu: ::Arianda almost laughed, though it was a rueful sound.:: Well, it

seems we here are all making a fresh start. ::She sighed.:: I'd invite you to

have some lunch, but I'm afraid my house is simply destroyed. Besides, I'm

out of food,

SeerofRu: and it seems the market is in shambles as well. ::She couldn't

help but begin to laugh. There was nothing truly funny about it, but

sometimes all you can do is laugh.::


BlueRoseOfPurity: Kamaria smiled at Arianda laugting as well. "I do not know

if there is any game left in these parts. But I could go hunting for some

food." [d]


SeerofRu: ::She finally composed herself, a bit embarassed for the bout of

laughter.:: The animals here haven't seemed to be affected by whatever

happened in Ru. Perhaps sometime soon I will have to journey to Tariel to see

if the crown knows

SeerofRu: what happened. ::Since returning to Aaliron, Arianda had gone

nowhere else outside the forest. She was unaware the devastation had affected

the entire kingdom.:: You should be able to find plenty of animals to hunt.

But, for now I

SeerofRu: feel like I should rest. If you ever need me, I live in Ru. The

village isn't far from here. A couple miles west, really, ::She indicated the

direction.:: I shouldn't be too hard to find there.


BlueRoseOfPurity: "Alight. For now I will explore the land and see what I

can find. It was glod to meet you though and I hope we can getto know each

other better." [d]


SeerofRu: Likewise ::Arianda gave a smile, and nodded to the dragon, unsure

if it could understand her.:: And you have a wonderful day as well. ::She'd

wait a moment before heading through the forest toward Ru::
